Application Deadline Change

Please note the application deadline for the 2010 Cottrell Scholar Awards has changed from September 1, 2009, to April 1, 2010. There is no change in the eligibility criterion vis-à-vis the appointment date to apply for the 2010 Cottrell Scholar Awards. Faculty members who assumed their first tenure-track position anytime in calendar year 2007 are eligible for application with a deadline for receipt of April 1, 2010. Award decisions will be made in November 2010, with funding to commence shortly thereafter. The reason for the change in the application deadline is to better manage the flow of applications in conjunction with other Research Corporation for Science Advancement programs.
