1. Are you a faculty member at a university within the United States?
Yes No
2. Do you hold a tenure-track primary appointment in a baccalaureate and doctoral degree-granting department of astronomy, biochemistry, biophysics, chemistry, or physics?
3. Is your primary appointment in a school of medicine or engineering?
4. Was your first academic tenure-track appointment in calendar year 2007?
Note: “primary appointment” in an academic department typically means at least 50% time is committed to the department and the determination on your academic tenure is made within the department. If your department does not offer a doctoral degree but you supervise PhD students from a different department or center, you may be eligible for the Cottrell Scholar program. If that is your situation, please contact a program officer to discuss eligibility.
This eligibility quiz is intended to expedite the application process and to prevent unnecessary effort on your part. A program officer at Research Corporation will ultimately determine eligibility for this program. If you have doubts about your answers to the above questions, please call or email a program officer.
