Scialog: Solar Energy Conversion is focused on funding early career scientists and building research teams to undertake groundbreaking studies in solar energy conversion.
The application process for Scialog: Solar Energy Conversion is currently closed. Please check the RCSA website periodically for the announcement of a new round of funding.
The application process is initiated by completion of the online eligibility quiz. If the applicant and institution meet the program requirements, the applicant is invited to submit a proposal. Please note the final decision on eligibility is made by a Program Officer. If there is uncertainty with regard to eligibility, it is the responsibility of the applicant to discuss the matter with a Program Officer prior to preparing a proposal, in order to prevent preparation of an ineligible proposal. Proposals are submitted for external review to the foundation’s Scialog Review Panel. The Review Panel makes recommendations to the foundation’s scientific staff on all proposals. The staff in turn makes recommendations to the foundation’s Board of Directors. Decisions by the Board of Directors are final with no appeal possible. Feedback on review of proposals is limited, in order to protect the confidentiality of Panel discussions.
