What's New

Research Corporation has completed its strategic planning initiative and is now in the early stages of implementing that plan. The outcome of this process will entail changes to programs, which may include new eligibility criteria. If you are intending to submit a proposal under current eligibility requirements, we encourage you to submit by the fall 2007 submission date. Beyond fall 2007, there is no guarantee that eligibility criteria will remain unchanged.

Where are we going?

In an effort to answer the above question, Research Corporation has, for the past year, been involved in a strategic planning exercise. The task has focused on defining the trends in two areas: scientific research and scientific education. The planning is intended to help define the foundation’s plans and ensure that key leaders are “all on the same page.” To that end, RC President Jim Gentile has convened two committees to examine the issues and help develop a plan that will be realistic and attainable.

The Presidential Advisory Panel for Research Initiatives consists of Kenneth H. Keller, Charles M. Denny, Jr. Professor of Science, Technology & Public Policy at the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs at University of Minnesota; David A.
