RCSA is a 501(c)(3) private operating foundation, emphasizing grants making, convening, and advocacy in its programs. Gifts to RCSA and sponsorships of RCSA programs are tax deductible to the extent permissible under the law.
RCSA works closely with individual partners to coordinate funding arrangements. Please contact Alicia Carina Sanchez for more information about partnerships.
Gifts can be made directly to Research Corporation for Science Advancement by credit card or wire transfers.
RCSA welcomes your gift or sponsorship through a pledge — a formal statement of intention to contribute. With a pledge, you may complete your gift or sponsorship with regular payments over time. Each payment on your pledge is eligible for an income-tax charitable deduction.
For individuals, gifts of appreciated securities, stocks, and bonds also provide considerable tax advantages when transferred to RCSA before they are sold and may have other tax benefits. Please contact RCSA’s CFO Danny Gasch at dgasch@rescorp.org for more information about transferring stocks.
Bequests often enable donors to give more than would have been possible during their lifetimes. Bequests may be kept private, and they can be changed during the donor's lifetime. Bequests are relatively easy to establish, often with just a simple addition to a will or revocable trust. And bequests are tax-wise — gifts through bequests qualify for certain estate tax deductions. Deferred or planned gifts, including bequests, life-income plans, and other options for your estate may also be made.
Gifts made through any of the methods described above can be designated in honor or memory of a loved one or in celebration of a milestone event, such as a birthday or anniversary. Please contact us for further information.
